There is no dedicated local photographic collection relating to the subject of riot and rebellion, but as with all subjects relating to the history of the county, researchers are advised to consult the picture collection held at Local Studies, Nottingham Central Library.
Some photos are kept under special topics, but many are kept in street/area order.

Portraits and political tokens relating to Daniel Parker Coke, Tory MP for Nottingham 1780-1812, in Nottingham Castle Museum.
Bust of Fergus O'Connor, Chartist leader and MP for Nottingham in 1847, stands in the Arboretum.

Several paintings survive of the Nottingham Reform Bill riots in 1831, particularly relating to the burning of the Nottingham Castle.
There are a number of pictures in the Nottingham Local Studies Library collection relating to election activity in the nineteenth century, and an evocative picture of the 1865 election riots by J. Holland in York City Art Gallery (reproduced in Beckett, ed., Centenary History, p. 305).
