| Siege coins from Newark. |
Millgate Museum, Newark, holds "a fine collection of artefacts relating to the Civil War", including
- "a huge collection of the lozenge shaped seige coins that were struck at Newark Castle"
- "a fine [Royalist] siege map"
- "numerous weapons of war from the wonderful but savage looking swords to the huge deadly cannon balls right through to the smaller but equally deadly musket balls. "
